Last weekend my husband and I decided to take Brady up to Oklahoma State University to show him around our favorite little college town. It’s hard to believe how many years have gone by since we were in college and I was batting my eyes at Scott from across the room in our Communications class. 

What initially got me so excited to revisit our college days was the release of RiffRaff’s Gameday Collection a few weeks ago. If you haven’t seen it yet, you need to. I immediately fell in love with so many things, but especially the shirt I’m wearing above (found here) because it reminded me so much of college game days in Stillwater. Beer at Eskimo Joes, Cheese Dip at El Tap and Football at good ol’ Boone Pickens. Talking about it again just makes me miss it all so much! I’m so jealous of all of the freshman who are finishing up their first week of classes today. Now I think I fully understand why alumni absolutely love going back to games so much, and it’s not just to root for their Alma Mater, but to relive their days of freedom, beer, cheese dip and football, for even just one day.

You didn’t think I would end this post without talking about how we got to play inside Boone Pickens Stadium all by ourselves, did you? Well, as soon as we got to Stillwater, we met up with a good friend and drove down into the stadium, parked right outside of the locker room, and walked onto the field from the west end zone. Brady was so funny because he just started walking around inside the end zone like we were in our own living room and I stood there in awe doing a 360 of the completely silent stadium. It was incredible. We ran up and down and all around the field, rolled a football around and at one point we sprawled out on the 50-yard line and read Brady’s favorite alphabet book. It was such a fun experience and I love that I get to share it with you.
