Parker’s Nursery Reveal

With baby brother arriving in just a few months and Parker moving to Brady’s room shortly thereafter, I thought it would be an appropriate time to pay homage to her room. When we found out we were expecting a girl, I could not wait to decorate her room! I spent hours and hours in here painting the walls and picking out all of the decor. It’s hard to say goodbye to it all, but I know that she’s going to have so much fun sharing a room with her big brother and I’m really excited to design and decorate a brand new nursery for baby brother. I have two big room renovations ahead of me over the next few weeks, but I’m ready! I think.

One of the last things I wanted to do before we started preparing this room for baby brother was to photograph it all for our memory book. It may sound silly but taking these photos and doing this post is actually helping me be okay with moving her out and painting over everything. It’s my own little version of free therapy. It’s probably the pregnancy hormones, but I’ve been so emotional about all of this change. I loved that Parker had a room all to herself and part of me feels like I’m taking it away from her, but I know in just a few short years she will have her very own room again and we can decorate it from scratch together!
