Another trip around the sun and I definitely feel it this time!
This last year has been as challenging as it has been rewarding. Brady started school (hello germs!), we had our third baby and I left the corporate world to stay home with my kids. I didn’t have a backup plan when I left, but I was determined to eventually find a job I could do at home. A few long months and twenty-four cover letters later, I decided to start my own business. With my experience in the advertising world and my desire to make my own schedule, it was a no-brainer!
Now, I get to work with absolutely incredible clients across the country with a baby on my hip, a toddler wrapped around my leg and a kindergartener asking if he can watch his iPad. I do a lot of my work during nap times and at night after the kids go to bed. Some nights I’ll stay up into the wee hours of the morning! I love every second of it. You will never hear me complain, even when I’m running on three hours of sleep. I’ve dreamed about this lifestyle since having my first baby and I’m so proud of the fact that I never stopped believing it would happen. It was a bumpy road getting here, but oh so worth it.
So thank you, thirty-two, for teaching me the power of positivity, patience and perseverance. I’m entering thirty-three happier and more grateful than ever.

Never ever give up on what you want in life. Envision it every night and take small steps to make it happen each day. Two weeks from now, you’ll be glad you did. Six months from now, you’ll be glad you did. Baby steps. You got this.

And now for the good stuff. I’ve been so busy these last few months that I’ve barely had any time to shop! Can you believe that? It’s sad but true. Several of these pieces have been on my shopping list for a while now, and others I’ve found on nights while mindlessly scrolling the internet to help my brain turn off. I love them all the same!
